Mark Ward Newfoundland and Labrador Death, Cherished Resident dies from Cancer

With profound grief we announce Mark Ward’s passing on July 14 2025 at 58 years old after battling cancer for a long time. Mark’s passing left a void in lives of people who knew him deeply and loved him with all their hearts. Mark was a man consumed utterly by multifaceted fascinations and diverse pursuits in life with considerable enthusiasm normally. He will be recalled fondly for a zest for living and unwavering loyalty deeply rooted in family ties.

Mark brought people together effortlessly at golfing weekends and poker games while spearheading BP Book Club and orchestrating delightfully various social shindigs. Mark brought sheer joy pretty much everywhere he went from raucous Canada Day bashes in Eastport to hockey games and music gigs. Mark had a stellar career with Bell Canada in Sales department valued not only for his professional prowess but also friendships he cultivated quite intensely. The Bell family will sorely miss him.

Mark’s loving cousin Mark and close friend Sarah survive him and numerous family members and friends will cherish his memory forever. Family expresses profound gratitude mostly for people who steadfastly supported Mark throughout his grueling two-year cancer ordeal in various profoundly touching ways. Staff at third-floor west Chancellor Park and fourth-floor south A Health Sciences Center receive huge thanks for remarkably compassionate care utterly freely given. Cremation has taken place per Mark’s wishes quietly already.

Mark’s family suggests making donations preferably a charity you fondly choose or simply paying it forward with kindness in his name.
